The following is issued on behalf of the Legislative Council Secretariat:

The Legislative Council will hold its first meeting of the 2001-2002 Session this Wednesday (October 10) at 2.30 pm in the Chamber of the Legislative Council Building. During the meeting, the Chief Executive will present his Policy Address to the Legislative Council.

Meanwhile, Hon MA Fung-kwok will take the Legislative Council oath.

The Legislative Council will hold another meeting this Thursday (October 11) at 3 pm in the Chamber of the Legislative Council Building. The Chief Executive will attend the meeting to answer Members' questions relating to his Policy Address.

The agendas of the above meetings can be obtained via the Legislative Council InfoFax Service (Tel: 2869 9568).

Members of the public interested in observing the proceedings of the meetings may reserve seats by calling 2869 9399 during office hours. Seats will be allocated on a first-come-first-served basis.
