The Chief Executive, Mr Tung Chee Hwa, is looking forward to sharing the Government's policy initiatives with the community this week when he delivers his 2001 Policy Address.
Mr Tung will present his Policy Address to the Legislative Council at 2.30 pm on October 10 (Wednesday). Immediately after the delivery, he will give a media conference.
The Chief Executive will record a short message on his Policy Address for broadcast on all electronic media stations in the evening of October 10. The message will provide the audience with a gist of the Address.
The Chief Executive will attend a radio programme in the morning of October 11 (Thursday). The programme will be broadcast live simultaneously on RTHK, Commercial Radio and Metro Radio.
In the afternoon on October 11, Mr Tung will attend a question-and-answer session on the Policy Address in the Legislative Council.
After the session, Mr Tung will have a meeting with District Council Chairmen to listen to their views on the Policy Address.
On October 12 (Friday), Mr Tung will deliver a keynote speech at a luncheon meeting jointly organised by the chambers of commerce.
